MECHANIX 190010 Manual Straight Fluted Reamer set

Excellent for finishing and re-conditionning hosel bores to a high degree of accuracy and surface finish. These straight Fluted hand Reamers are made to exacting specification and are designed to enlarge hosel bores by 0.003″ /0.1 mm to provide a good allowance between the shaft and hosel for the perfect epoxy bond!

Drill Press Operation:
While specifically designed for hand reaming operations, both reamers (straight & Fluted) can be used on a drill press running at 150 RPM or below. Slow cutting speed combined with a moderate feed speed and generous lubrication yields the best results and prolongs tool life considerably!

Key Features:
– High Speed Steel cuts through most alloys including 17-4PH and 6AL-4V
– Enlarges hosels up to 0.003″ /0.1 mm (Nominal)
– Drill press compatible at or below 150 RPM depending on alloy
– Tapered lead guides reamer into the hosel bore (Straight reamer only)
– Universal reamer handle with square stock included with each kit.
