The first volume features color photographs; the second volume contains descriptions & estimates of the 532 lots. Housed in illustrated paper-covered slipcase; illustrated paper sleeve containing mini disk laid in. The lots consist of dresses, coats, hats, shoes, lingerie designed by Poiret, a few personal objects of Paul Poiret, wallpaper & printed fabric samples, small furniture & models from Atelier Martine, and objects from his Rosine perfume line. Includes contemporary photographs of the Poirets at home.
