Much sought after set of facsimile drawings by Rex Whistler, based upon A E W Mason’s novel. This is number 181 of only 1000 copies that were printed for sale in America and Britain. Each glorious print is tip mounted onto the right hand page and its relevant text is printed on the left. The drawings are typically ‘Whistlerian’, delicate, witty, and beautifully produced at their original size. This large format issue is a superb example of this wonderful artist’s work as well as being an example of fine book production.
