This piece was made by The Trenton Potteries Co. The Trenton Potteries Co. was formed in 1894 from five potteries including Enterprise which had been at the same site since 1879. This conglomerate made sanitary ware: domestic, industrial, and institutional.

Cyril Gorainoff was a Russian/American who opened a small gift shop on Madison Avenue in New York City in the 1920’s with his partner Frank Vosmansky. They entered an exclusive contract with Abercrombie and Fitch stores in the 1930’s featuring the sporting line of hunt scenes, dogs and birds.
